Chaos (2024)

Chaos is a form of alignment. It is the antithesis of Order. Ardor is the God of Chaos, and he is the one who brought monsters to this world. He is worshipped by the Abysswalker Legion, and Necromancers also utilize his teachings.

Chaotic players have less regard for the law, and kill others with little hesitation.

The Master Assassin in Vincent's Speakeasy, The Sleeping Snail and Oresfall will give you missions to assassinate Orderly players. If you kill your target and return to the Master Assassin, you'll be rewarded with Chaos and Silver.

You will only gain Chaos from killing players if they died by your hand - throwing players off of cliffs, into fire(no, it decreases orderly but gives no chaotic), or having them die in any way other than a direct kill will not affect your Alignment.

Killing house members DOES NOT give anything. Its totally useless.

Common Misconception: Chaotic does NOT mean evil. Chaotic can mean just as much as Murder and Chaos as it can Freedom and Expression.

You should also get some orderly before going chaotic in order to get Sigil helmet so you do not have to waste time getting druid services.

Notes[]

  • A Grip gives 2 chaotic.
  • Feeding on somebody as a Vampire removes 2 orderly.
  • Burning people alive will remove 4 orderly if you have some, but won't give any chaotic.
  • A chaotic quest gives 5 chaotic.
  • Dinakeri and Wraith Knight are able to Soul Rip knocked players. Dinakeri (if they are not Wraith Knights) recieve 6 chaotic from Soul Rip. Wraith Knights recieve 8 chaotic from Soul Rip.
  • Assassinations from the Master Assassin give 10 chaotic (5 grips worth), not including the actual grip. If you grip the target normally, you will net 12 chaotic (6 grips worth). If you Soul Rip the target as a Dinakeri, you will get 16 chaotic (8 grips worth). [2 Assassination contracts (including the grip) and 3 normal grips were enough to get the Assassin super class when tested.]
