Description

Snap Magic is an ability that allows for the caster to use a spell (or two if Castellan) with a snap of their fingers. Snap Magic has different traits than that of normal spells. They require all Fallion lessons, a certain training for a spell, and about 250 silver within the Tundra. (Note: you can change your snap if you cast it enough times and pay 250 silver to Quinno again. P.S you can change it infinite times. Also works in Khei if you talk to the snap trainer.)

  • It is important to note that snaps share a cooldown. If you use a snap that has a 10 second cooldown, you cannot use any other snap for 10 seconds. This does not apply to Dominus, the Master Illusionist spell, because it is activated with a left click instead, being registered as a regular spell. This also does not apply to Snap Tenebris.

How to get

To get Snap Magic, you need to have all the Fallion skills and go to the tundra snap tower. On the 2nd floor, there is an NPC, and if you give him 250 silver he will give you a snap. He will give you a snap after using any snappable spell a random amount of times, so it is advised to use the spell you want snap for around 20 - 30 minutes. To get more snaps, you go into Sunken Passage and find the soul master who will remove 5% of your health forever and 1000 silver. This will make you able to get 2 snaps. You can keep doing this but it removes more and more health, so it's recommended to get no more than 2-3.

[NOTES]: The requirement is completely random. The casts could range anywhere from 1-1000.

To get a snap in Khei, one must have Fallion then travel to the Grand Archive and go through the building to the top floor and talk to the guy next to the Uber Illusionist trainer (NOTE: Even if you do have fallion training you must do the crystal root quest in order to be able to get your snap from the NPC). If you do not have Fallion, then you must grab 3 crystal roots and do the mage quest in Khei.

Snap Magic is performed by pressing M2 while having mana charged to the percent described below for each spell.

You can exceed your normal snap limit by going to a NPC in the Sunken Passage called the Soul Master who will allow you to get another snap at the cost of 5% of your maximum health and 1000 silver. To change your soul snap, you can go to Quinno with the amount of training for a new snap, and he will let you choose which snap you will replace. You can get more soul snaps by talking to the Soul Master again.

  • There used to be a bug involving the soul master where a player could use a move that could increase their HP, such as hyperbody or berserk rune, and negotiate with the Soul Master. The soul master would take the silver, as well as 5% of the player's increased health. When the players health returned to normal, they experienced little to no health decrease. Attempting to do this bug now will result in your health being set to your intended reduced HP.

It is important to remember that classes that get free snaps (Ultra Illusionists and Druids getting snaps for all of its spells) does not count toward your snap limit.

Snap Fimbulvetr 75-90% (Snap Winter)

  • Snap Fimbulvetr is a cursed spell that creates ice rain that strikes the caster's cursor.
  • It can affect multiple players at once, damages them, and keeps them stunned. If the targets are hurt enough, they could gain frostbite. If the spell is backfired it has the same effect as backfiring Gelidus but with x4 damage. If the target does not have mana, they will unlock mana.
  • Interesting fact, although this looks like a lethal, heavy-hitting spell, it does not do a lot of damage and mostly just stuns opponents. If you can manage to keep them within the spell, it only deals ~80 HP of damage.
  • Rigans deal 1.5x damage with this spell, and Castellans deal 1.2x.

Snap Tenebris 40-60% (Snap Darkness)

Snap Magic (1)
  • Snap Tenebris summons 4 Tenebris orbs around the caster. If the caster uses snap Tenebris again, it will send one of the four orbs and home in towards the nearest player. When hit, it will deal low damage with no knockback, but will inflict curses.
  • Curses cause the afflicted player to take more damage from all sources, and can be stacked several times for a multiplier of about 2x damage.
  • Backfiring Snap Tenebris will cause about 60 HP in damage, and apply a curse stack.
  • Can only be acquired by Necromancers
  • Curses causes the inflicted player to take more damage
  • A really really good snap, one of the top tiers.
  • In my own personal experience having snap Tenebris as a non tomeless mage can really suck sometimes because mages don't have burst attacks that deal a lot of damage, does not apply if you have god spells

Also great for killing tundra dragon

Snap Trickstus 15-40% (Snap Trickster)

  • Snap Trickstus is an AOE version of Trickstus. All non housemates around the caster will be affected for 10-15 seconds. They will be unable to see nearby players up to a certain distance. Players out of this range or entering the range once the spells was casted are still visible.
  • Backfiring Snap Tricktus will cause the caster to be unable to see any nearby players for 10-15 seconds.
  • As low cooldown, can be spammed to effectively make the enemy "blind".
  • Attained by Master Illusionist as a passive.

Snap Hystericus 10-20% (Snap Hysteria)

  • Snap Hystericus simply becomes an AoE version of the original. Players effected will have their controls mixed for two seconds.
  • Backfiring Snap Hystericus will cause the caster to have their controls swapped for 5-10 seconds.
  • Attained by Master Illusionist as a passive.
  • Nerfed extremely heavily in recent updates
  • This snap is obtained by Master Illusionists as a passive, and as of April 26, 2020 this is the only way to obtain this snap.

Snap Nocere 70-85% (Snap Harm)

  • Snap Nocere raises the target into the air and begins to choke them. The target will slowly have their bones broken unless they fully charge their mana. The target does not have to be knocked out for this to occur. This also results in the target acquiring mana.
  • Backfiring Snap Nocere will cause the caster to receive an injury.
  • This now counts as a snap that can't be acquired by anyone but Super/Ultra mage classes. You can get the snap as a base mage you just need to be a super or above to use it.
  • Snap Nocere can't start choking a player if they have any mana charged in their bar when the snap is attempted to be used.

Snap Celeritas 70-90% (Snap Position)

  • Snap Celeritas switches the caster with another player/mob with a snap of their fingers as long as they are not too far, and the caster can place their cursor on them.
  • Backfiring Snap Celeritas will lower the caster's walkspeed.
  • Can be hard to aim, but its good for confusing/ambushing the enemies.
  • Can be used to catch your enemy off guard or to switch places with a monster when near a player
  • Don't scam, not cool.
  • Is a reference to Sasuke's Rinnegan Ability, "Amenotejikara" from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations/Naruto Shippuden. Allowing him to switch places with the person targeting him.

Snap Sagitta Sol 40-70% (Snap Sun Archer)

  • Snap Sagitta Sol summons a golden warrior that quickly slashes forwards once, causing damage and knocking the opponent back. It also disarms the opponent if they are holding a weapon.
  • Backfiring Snap Sagitta Sol will disarm the caster if they have a tome, deal damage, and knock them back.

Snap Pondus 10-50% (Snap Weight)

  • Snap Pondus slows down everyone in front of you. This effect can be stacked, to the point where they are kneeling on the ground and are unable to move. Both versions of Pondus is currently unobtainable.

Snap Viribus 60-75% (Snap Strength)

  • Snap Viribus summons a volley of earth pillars towards the caster's camera. Unlike it's normal version, you do not have to wait for the windup when casting this.
  • Backfiring Snap Viribus will cause a single pillar to strike the caster. (Same as normal Viribus)
  • Snap Viribus can be strengthened by those of the Monk class. If they use their active ability 'Monastic Stance', the pillars will shine yellow, and damage and knock back anyone who makes contact with them.
  • Very good for farming monsters (specifically Golems) in Khei

Snap Armis 75-85% (Snap Weaponry)

  • Snap Armis instantly disarms surrounding players. Unlike it's normal counterpart, this spell does no knockback.
  • In a recent update, backfiring this spell will now only knock you back, and you won't take damage (unless you fall from a cliff) and you won't get disarmed.
  • Non-viable for fighting in group fights as this snap will disarm house members.

Snap Gelidus 95%+ (Snap Ice)

  • Snap Gelidus let's the caster slide on an ice path at incredible speeds, as long as they do not hit a wall.
  • Backfiring Snap Gelidus will deal low damage, knock the caster back, and chill them.
  • Snap Gelidus will cause the user to chill far faster, doesn't ignore cold resistance. This is not recommended to be used for more than 15 seconds, or you will likely contract frostbite.
  • Using snap Gelidus with the frostbite injury will make you fail the spell.
  • Using snap Gelidus with a broken leg will make you fail the spell.
  • If your ping is good, you can fly with Snap Gellidus.
  • If your ping is bad, do not to attempt to fly with it.
  • Not recommended to use in combat, as it'll leave you extremely vulnerable to Gellidus.
  • If you are a kasparan, it is recommended to be on fire (backfire ignis) before using snap gelidus. After a recent shadow nerf, Snap Gelidus now extinguishes being on fire.
  • Dashing with it makes you go slower for some reason.
  • Having a broken leg or a frostbite injury, Snap Geli will backfire and damage you

Snap Manus Dei 50% (Snap God's Hands)

  • Snap Manus Dei summons 4 fire meteors to the caster's cursor. It can hit multiple enemies at once, do large damage, and set them on fire.
  • Backfiring Snap Manus Dei will cause fire to explode in front of you dealing a significant amount of damage just like snap ignis and deal at least 100 damage if you are a elder vamp.
  • The 4 meteors total do relatively the same damage as normal Manus Dei, but with a significantly larger AoE.
  • Snap Manus Dei has a similar windup as Manus Dei, taking about several seconds to descend on the targets.
  • This counts as a snap that can't be acquired by anyone but Super/Ultra mage classes.
  • Kasperans and Azaels deal extra damage with this spell, due to their 1.25x fire damage.
  • A bad snap as it can be easily noticed by enemies and has a really long windup.

Snap Gate 75-85% (Snap Portal)

  • Snap Gate instantly allows the caster to teleport without the windup gate has.
  • Gained for free by Azaels
  • Snap gate can be more precise by saying locations such as, "Tundra 1" "Desert 4" Etc.
  • Backfiring snap gate has a chance to gate you to a random location such as the All Dark, Temple of Altum or Purgatory. (You are now unable to gate to Purgatory.) Only the All Dark and the Temple of Altum will kill you. (Unless you're an Abysswalker and you gate to the all dark, only way to do that is to be an Abysswalker Azael, so most people gating all-dark will die, unless you somehow manage to land on furniture)
  • Note: Snap gate can still teleport to locations that gate can, examples being "Desert" "Tundra" Etc.
  • Note: Normal gate is unlocked upon giving a rift gem to the Azael at the obelisk above Renova. After which getting snap gate is the exact same as any other snap.
  • Note: If you runecast gate, the gate will be colored black instead of white.
  • Note: Backfiring this spell will make the gate appear red.
  • Best way to train gate towards getting a snap is to cast it while dashing sideways so that the gate automatically cancels and allows you to cast it at great speed. Auto clicker and fast moment speed armor required. Alternate way is to cast the gate then say "cancel".

Snap Velo 50-60% (Snap Veil)

  • Snap Velo makes a small ball of light in front of the user, Completely blinds people for about 0.5 seconds, but takes 1-2 seconds to fully return to normal. Not very viable currently.
  • It uses the same sound effect as Krillin's Sonar Flare in Anime Battle Arena, which has a similar effect.

Snap Ignis 45-55% (Snap Flame)

  • Snap Ignis allows the caster to snap their fingers and shoot out a ball of fire, dealing insane damage.
  • Snap Ignis functions very similarly to Armis, except for the fact it doesn't disarm and does damage.
  • Backfiring Snap Ignis will do higher damage than regular Ignis backfire.
  • Firing Snap Ignis at a close range can still hit the caster.
  • Snap Ignis cooldown was recently increased by 2.5x. It now takes about 8-10 seconds for the cooldown to end.
  • Kasparans deal extra damage with this spell (1.25x)

Snap Percutiens 75-85% (Snap Strike)

  • Snap Percutiens instantly casts a bolt of lightning to the users cursor, dealing immense damage to those struck.
  • Snap Percutiens can hit the caster if they shoot too close to their location. No they can't, that's bs.
  • Backfiring Snap Percutiens will deal high damage to the caster, and knock them back.
  • Gaians and Metalscrooms deal extra damage with this spell, due to their 1.5x lightning damage.
  • Has a very weird hitbox.

Snap Snarvindur 10-35% (Snap Instant Wind)

  • Snap Snarvindur instantly casts throws back victims with force and extreme damage if against a wall in a 360 degree AoE around the caster.
  • Does more damage than regular Snarvindur in exchange for smaller range.
  • You can jump while using this spell to deal additional damage as the 'ground' is considered a wall, as well as making it unblockable from the ground.
  • Vinds and Fischerans deal extra damage with this spell, due to their 1.25x wind damage.
  • Can be countered by Vind using Tempest Soul.
  • Has a very small hitbox.

Snap Hoppa 45-60% (Snap Jump)

  • Snap Hoppa instantly casts Hoppa with no windup or handsigns.
  • In Gaia, it flings people within the casting range of Hoppa horizontally.
  • In private servers and Khei, it flings people obscene heights vertically into the air so that they suffer extreme fall damage.
  • Can one-shot certain Uber classes.

Snap Mori??-??%(Snap Death)

  • Fire off a fully automatic minigun of Mori projectiles that instantly kill anyone they touch.
  • Backfiring instantly wipes you.
  • Not obtainable.
  • Each cast makes you lose a percent of your hp permanently (according to lady idiotstwo)
  • Each player has a random cast% (according to a gnav)

Snap Telorum 70-80% (Snap Missile)

  • This summons an aerial strike of multiple swords of light in front of you, leaving white "X" shaped cuts which disappears momentarily.
  • Speculated to deal heavy damage to vampires, this is due to the normal spell dealing extra damage to vampires.

Snap Contrarium 70-85% (Snap Contrary)

  • Instantly casts a somewhat small AOE all around you that prevents people hit from charging mana
  • Extremely good versus mana-reliant classes like Dragon Sage or other mage classes.
  • Has a long cooldown.
  • Hits teammates / house members.
