How To Emote In Lethal Company
In the base version of the game, there are only two ways to emote. There is the pointing emote and dance emote, which can be activated using the number keys. You can dance with the '1' key and point with the '2' key.
Some monsters, like the eyeless dogs, can't see and rely on hearing. Use the point emote to notify your allies if you see any instead of using your voice and potentially giving your position away.
Both emotes serve their purposes, with the pointing emote being more practical in the gameplay. That being said, dancing at the right moment to celebrate with friends or to punctuate your jokes does have its appeal too.
Mods For More Emotes
Some mods add a range of new emotes to Lethal Company given its popularity, with the easiest to install being found on the Thunderstore mod hosting service.
More Emotes Mod
One mod, simply named 'More Emotes', contains several emotes that range from celebratory actions to more dances.
The additional emotes in this mod and their number keys include:

Before downloading the mod pack, or its requirement BepInEx, you should download the Thunderstore Mod Manager, which will automatically install your mods.
Only those with the mod installed and activated can see the emotes when others use them.
Once you have the Mod Manager installed, click 'Install with Mod Manager' on the page for More Emotes and its requirement, the BepInExPack. Once they show up in the mod manager, make sure that both are installed and the switch for both is set to active.
Once both mods are installed and shown with blue switches next to them in the Mod Manager, you'll need to click 'Modded' in the Thunderstore app to launch the modified version of the game. Once in the game, you can check to see if the mods are working by pressing 'V' on the ship or planets.
TooManyEmotes Mod
Another option to add more emotes includes TooManyEmotes on Thunderstore, which adds over 100 emotes and a purchasable menu for them through the terminal. This is a much more complicated mod, with a rarity system and store that unlocks them. It is also compatible with MoreEmotes and More Company.
If you want to install TooManyEmotes, follow the same installation and launch instructions as MoreEmotes.
However, the more content you add to the game may cause loading issues or other unforeseen glitches. If you just want a few extra emotes that still keep your game stable, then MoreEmotes is likely the safest bet.
