The Section 8 Waiting List for the City of Pasadena is CLOSED for applications. Applications were accepted from June 1, 2023-June 15, 2023.
If you applied for Section 8 with the City of Pasadena between June 1, 20023 and June 15, 2023, your application will be included in a lottery to select 7,500 applications to place on the waiting list. The lottery will be conducted on August 15, 2023.
You will receive an email after 5 pm on August 15, 2023 notifying you whether or not your application was selected for the Section 8 Waiting List Lottery. The City of Pasadena Housing Department will not have information about whether or not your application was selected before this time. There are no appeals to the lottery process.
The CoPHD complies fully with all federal, state, and local non-discrimination laws and regulations governing Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity in housing and employment. The CoPHD shall not deny any family or individual the opportunity to apply for and receive assistance under the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program based on race, color, sex, religion, creed, national or ethnic origin, age, family or marital status, disability, or sexual orientation.
