Early Drop-Off:You may drop off Early School students as early as 8:00 a.m., and Lower and Middle School students as early as 7:45 a.m. No additional before-school care is available at this time.
After School Program:Charlotte Prep offers an enriching program for K - 8th grade after their academic day ends. Families may participate on an annual or drop-in basis. Fees are noted below:
- Kindergarten - 8th Grade(3:00 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.) - $4,200
- Drop-in After School is available for $20/hour for Montessori Kindergarten through 8th Grade students.
Annual Down Payment:Uponacceptance to Charlotte Preparatory School, a non-refundable down payment of $2,000, accompanied by a signed contract, secures an academic placement for an eligible student. This deposit is then credited to the overall tuition.
Parents' Association Fund:A fee of $150 per student is charged annually to fund the activities of our Parents' Association
Hot Lunch Program:Charlotte Preparatory School has a commercial kitchen and dining room to serve a healthy, hot lunch. Lunch selections and payments are made directly through our partner,FLIK IndependentSchool Dining. New families will be provided with instructions on setting up a FLIK account to purchase meal plans or a la carte meals for their students.
One-time New Family Commitment Fee:Over the years, many families have built our school through their investment of time and resources. When you join theCharlotte Preparatory School family, you are beginning your investment into this very special educational community. The New Family Commitment Fee is an expression of your commitment to educating your child at Charlotte Preparatory School through the 8th Grade. We require new families to submit this one-time payment of $1,000 upon signing their first tuition contract with Charlotte Preparatory School.
Tuition Refund Plan:TheTuition Refund Plan(TRP) ensures a partial refund of the remaining tuition in the event of a withdrawal. This plan (approximately 1.7% of tuition cost) is required unless the full annual fees are paid by May 1, in which case the plan is elective.
Field trip fees may be assessed if needed.
