Trefoils, or "Shortbreads", are shortbread cookies made in the shape of the Girl Scout trefoil.

The national Girl Scout organization reviews and approves all varieties proposed by the baking companies, but requires only three types: Thin Mints, Do-Si-Dos, and Trefoils.

Ingredients[]

Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate [vitamin B1], riboflavin [vitamin B2], folic acid), soybean and palm oil, sugar, contains two percent or less of brown sugar (sugar, molasses), sweetened condensed milk (condensed milk, sugar), dried buttermilk, salt, natural and artificial flavor, baking soda, soy lecithin.

The Trefoils cookie box is cerulean blue in colour. On the front, it features four girls painting a mural together. There is also a quote, and it reads; “We enjoy getting creative to make murals that all help girls believe in themselves.”
