Saturday Snackshot: Church Lady Deviled Eggs (2)

This week’s Snackshot takes us to Disney Springs.

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is located in The Landing area of Disney Springs and it’s a favorite restaurant among my group of friends. Whenever we visit Disney this is usually the first and last place we eat. Not only is the food really good, but everyone who works there has always been very nice and friendly. We always look forward to our meals and visits at this restaurant.

Most of us will get the same thing that we know we like. One of the appetizers that I always order is the Church Lady Deviled Eggs. The eggs are served in a ceramic egg holder, which is good because they definitely need to be in something sturdy. Each half of an egg is filled pretty high with a smooth and creamy egg yolk mixture. Each deviled egg is then topped with a piece of bacon, smoked paprika, and chives. It’s definitely a rich appetizer, but it’s so good. To save room for your entree I highly recommend sharing with the table.

In addition to the Church Lady Deviled Eggs, the appetizer menu has things like fried green tomatoes, biscuits topped with fried chicken thighs, spicy cauliflower wings, fried pickles, shrimp co*cktail, hushpuppies, and a southern charcuterie. There’s a nice selection of salads, soups, sandwiches, and entrees as well. One of the most popular entrees here is Art’s Famous Fried Chicken, so if you are a fan of fried chicken I would give this one a try. See the full menu here.

I love all things Disney, but my main love is for Disney World and I'm always planning for the next trip. Before becoming a Disney blogger, I was a radio DJ, so I guess I'm just continuing in the communication industry, just in a different form.I love talking Disney and I could talk about Disney all day. That's why I started blogging and created the Facebook group. The Disney community is full of friendly, helpful, and happy people...and I love being a part of it! If there is any Disney subject you would like to see covered just let me know! Need help planning your Disney vacation. Feel free to contact myself or Melissa at Never Stop Dreaming Travel Co. We love helping people plan their trips! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy! Don't forget to check out our Countdown to Disney app!
