Is 7 days too long on Crete
We have a timeshare and can get a week on Crete but wondering if this might be too long on one Island. Can we take day trips to other Island from here. We plan to spend a few days on Santorini and Mykonos also.

I shouldn't worry - Crete is large as the islands go and it is packed with places to go, things to see, and things to do. You won't fit even a fraction of it into 7 days. My best-ever holiday was in Crete. We were there for 10 days and only explored a small part of it.

We have had 3 holidays in Crete, 2 weeks in the west, 2 weeks in the east and a return 1 week holiday to the west - and I would still return as there is more to see.
Highlights for us were the Samaria Gorge, Chania, Knossos and various other ruins (would need to check the names), beautiful mountains, coastline and beaches.
