Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are your hours of operation?
We operate daily from 8 am to dusk, weather permitting. All rentals must return by dusk. In case of unsafe weather conditions, such as high winds or thunderstorms, rentals will not be available.

2. Rider Requirements:
- Age for Riding:
Passengers must be at least 45 inches tall to ensure their feet touch the footwells, promoting safety and control.
- Age for Operating: Individuals must be at least 16 years old to operate a jet ski. Riders that possess a valid Pennsylvania Boater's Safety License, with a valid ID (birth certificate, driver's permit, or school ID) are good to go. Others who do not have a valid Pennsylvania Boater's Safety License will be provided a brief safety course to obtain a temporary Boating Certificate for their rental period.

3. Safety Training:
All operators are required to participate in our safety briefing to ensure familiarity with our specific equipment and local navigational rules, regardless of having a Boater's Safety License.

4. Reservation and Cancellation:
- Reservation Required: To ensure the availability of our Sea-Doos, all rentals are based on advance reservations. An initial deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your rental. This deposit is part of our commitment policy, holding both parties accountable and ensuring a smooth rental experience.
- Cancellation Policy: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. To avoid charges, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. The initial deposit will be fully refunded if the cancellation is made within the policy timeframe.
5. Preparation for Your Rental:
- Arrival Time:
Please arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled rental time to complete paperwork and participate in the safety briefing.
- What to Bring: A valid ID and a major debit or credit card for the security deposit against damages.

6. Safety and Equipment:
Life jackets are provided for all riders and are mandatory. Our safety equipment, including life jackets, meets U.S. Coast Guard standards.

7. Fuel Policy:
Our jet skis must be returned with a full tank. Fuel is not included in the rental price.

8. Damage Policy:
Instructions for safe jet ski operation are provided to minimize the risk of damage. A hold will be placed on the renter's card in case of damages, which will be released if no damages occur. Renters are responsible for any damages incurred, with repair costs assessed accordingly.

9. Weekly Rental Package:
We offer a special week-long rental package for guests staying in local Airbnbs or similar accommodations, allowing for extended enjoyment and flexibility during your stay at Conneaut Lake.
