Red Tape Commission
The League has assisted the work of the Red Tape Review Commission, since its genesis during the transition period, prior to Governor Christie’s inauguration in 2010. The first meeting of a Red Tape Review group was held at the 2009 League Annual Conference, shortly after his election. From that beginning, Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno has led this effort to eliminate unneeded impediments to business and government efficiency.

On September 30, 2014 the League composed a list of state-imposed requirements that force municipalities to unnecessarily expend limited time and valuable resources.
