About the Item
Antique handmade Art Deco Chinese export necklace with carved Shou amethyst beads with a large very ornate sterling silver clasp . Clasp /central pendant has deeply carved amethyst stone which is set on an very ornate frame featuring different animals ,fish etc boarder . Amethyst beads and clasp has smaller faux pearl beads in between and at boarder .Very well made piece with beautiful detailed work .marked on backside (probably makers mark ) .Dates : 1920'sMaterials :sterling silveramethyst beads and large cabfaux seed pearls measurements :Necklace is 16 inches in total length x 3/8 inches wide . Clasp is 1 1/2 inches x 1 inches .Weighs 59 gramsCondition : Overall good antique condition with some age related wear . Can see few missing seed pearls and also can see peeling /flaking to some seed pearl . No crack chips to the amethyst beads .necklace comes with original box which is in ok condition , shows sins of age and wear .
