Starbursts are loved by adults and children alike that have a sweet tooth, but are the fruit chews vegan?

What is Starburst?

Starbursts are fruit sweets popular in the UK and have been around since 1960. The fruit chews are individually wrapped in each packet, and come in a range of flavours depending on which edition is purchased, but basic flavours are lemon, orange, strawberry, blackcurrant and apple.

Are Starbursts vegan?

Yes, Starburst are indeed vegan! Though deliciously chewy, it is free from gelatin which used to be a culprit in its ingredient list until several years ago.

Where to find Starburst

Starburst can be found everywhere from small newsagents to big supermarkets, so you should have no trouble finding somewhere near you to pick up a pack. Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda sell both big and small packs, so you can share (or not) your favourite flavours.
