Adult in Custody Death Under Investigation at NORCOR
The Dalles, Ore., December 7, 2023 — In the early morning hours of December 7, 2023, an adult in custody at Northern Oregon Regional Correctional Facilities (NORCOR) was found deceased.
An investigation into the cause of death by the Oregon State Police (OSP), Sherman County Sheriff’s Office, Wasco County Sheriff’s Office, The Dalles City Police and the Medical Examiner, is currently underway.
Officials were unable to comment on the identity of the deceased or whether the death occurred under suspicious circ*mstance.
